My blog works because of you... and when I break links, I know you are there for me. Sometime I'll write more but being self-employed for 25 years there were plenty of times when my personal economy wasn't doing well. I didn't expect people to feel sorry for me. All I wanted was if I provided them value for them to recommend me to others. I think that if a job seeker is struggling, he needs to look for resources to help him and use his network to help find work... it takes work to get referrals as a self-employed person too... but it happens... I've spent much of my life being stubborn about doing everything myself and lacking confidence. Like you, I made many changes this year. I started asking for help and discovered how amazing people can be and I started believing in myself. I think times are really tough for a lot of people but the energy spent on complaining could be spent on something more productive. Wonderful Julie!
