Please comment and come back again to visit. The blogs I like best build community and I have connected with so many of my online community on other platforms, like Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn and taken many of those relationships to a new level with real life meetings.
I am Julie Walraven, a career professional with more than 25 years expertise in creating resumes and helping people find their way to success and happiness. Design Resumes is my company.
Throughout the years, I have had the privilege of writing thousands of resumes for people from many different careers. I really can’t help but get excited when I hear the success stories of my clients. see the services page for more info about the process.
You can check out my connections with the career community by visiting the sidebar with my memberships listed in Career Directors International, Career Management Alliance, & the Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches.
Though I have been a career professional for over 20 years, until just recently I was also the Operations Manager for Wausau Whitewater, a non-profit 501 (C) (3), charged with operating Wausau’s whitewater course located downtown. I held that role since 1997 and I was equally passionate about creating and marketing training, playing, and competitive opportunities for the course. So basically, I held two very full time jobs!
Now my own journey is changing and I will be focusing on my business, Design Resumes, with no competing projects. I am excited about this transition and speak more about it in posts like this one.
