Why are these professionally written resume samples available for FREE?
You might be wondering why I provide free professional resume samples. I know job seekers struggle. This latest recession seems to be on the 5 year mark right now with no return in sight to the prosperous years we once knew. Job seekers need to have cutting edge strategies in this market.
My fees are set at a competitive rate for a certified professional resume writer but not everyone feels ready to invest in hiring a professional resume writer.
Of course, there is a limit to the number of clients I can work with (about 10 to 20 per month) but by providing the samples and the free content marketing information, I can now help job seekers who may never choose to be my clients.
How to use professional resume samples
Job seekers can use these samples as examples to help them get started. Each of my resumes is crafted just for the client so of course you can’t just stick your name on it and call it good. You have to think through the process and write your own accomplishments and incorporate the information that makes you valuable to the next employer.

Cara’s story
Cara was in the process of completing her Associate Degree as a Registered Nurse in the Midwest but her heart was in California. A non-traditional student and her children grown and married, she yearned to return to a warmer climate and the friends she left behind in 2007.
She was the first appointment after the newspaper article ran on my job seeker makeover story in the Wausau Daily Herald at the end of February. She said that reading that article convinced her she needed to see me to open the door to her success and let her follow her dream.
Her goal was to land a Medical Assistant position in California by May and then finish her Registered Nursing Associate Degree in California while she continued to work as a Medical Assistant.
She was flying out to visit in the middle of March and wanted to be able to use the new professionally written resume during her visit to find her new role. We wrote her resume and I coached her on how to apply online.
She landed the first position she applied for in California with an agency that would allow her to work for many of the top health care organizations in the area. She moved out to California in the middle of May and started her new job mid June.
Courage to follow your dreams was the theme of this resume project and the reward is that she is where she wanted to be and set with a new job.
