My goal is to delight you as my client with a resume that capture the essence of who you are and what you offer a prospective employer. You choose how you work with me, (Julie Walraven) and Design Resumes, either face-to-face or virtually via telephone, Skype, and e-mail.
Face-to-face appointment: Create your resume in our Central Wisconsin office. Even if you live across the country, if you want to combine your appointment with a mini-vacation, to ski at Granite Peak, kayak at Wausau Whitewater, enjoy a performance at the Performing Arts, or visit Birds in Art or another fascinating display at Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum, we can make it happen. Our lodging partners would love to provide you with great accommodations. And of course, face-to-face clients get to meet the now world-famous Teddy, also known as @TeddyGermanShep on Twitter!
During the appointment, I will show you our sample book filled with real clients who have given permission to share their resumes in our office setting. I will discuss which strategy works best for you and you will collaborate with me to pinpoint accomplishments and focus on your career goals.
Appointment Scheduling: Appointments accommodate your schedule during normal business hours (8am to 5pm) as well as occasional evenings or Saturday hours. Design Resumes is closed on Sundays.
Virtual resume experience: If you would like to remain in your location, I works virtually to create the same high quality, excellent resume and provide the same career management services. We can collaborate in real time using Skype to do initial information gathering and later review and edit your resume
You save transportation costs and can continue your normal lifestyle. We use interview-based information gathering and worksheets to find all the meaty accomplishments that you need to focus on to wow your next employer. You can view several fictionalized samples of real clients on the Sample page.
Client Agreement: To begin services, download MS Word or Adobe PDF versions of client agreement. Select package or resume choice. “I, Client, authorize Design Résumés to create career marketing communications and/or provide career services…” Review, sign, and return client agreement via e-mail or mail. Project may be prepaid using Paypal or you may use the contact page to communicate your desire to work with Design Resumes and me, Julie Walraven.
Payment Options: Design Resumes accepts debit and credit card payments. Face-to-Face Clients are welcome to pay with cash or checks also. Payment is expected when project is started.
