I Don’t See What I Want

In addition to the pre-set packages, I can fine-tune services to meet your needs and focus on areas of your job search you need. In addition to mix and matching package components, additional coaching can be added to any package at the $100 hourly fee.

You and I can interact in multiple ways: virtually via telephone, Skype, and e-mail or face-to-face in my Wausau, Wisconsin office.

I’m Ready – How do I start?

  1. Review the options and determine what you need for your career transition or job search.
  2. Appointment Scheduling: Do you want a Face-to-Face (F2F) appointment or a Virtual appointment? Design Resumes is open during normal business hours (8am to 5pm) with some evening or Saturday hours. We are closed on Sundays. Schedule your initial Face-to-Face or Skype appointment.
  3. Client Agreement: Download MS Word or Adobe PDF versions of client agreement.  “I, Client, authorize Design Résumés to create career marketing communications and/or provide career services…” Review, sign, and return client agreement via e-mail or mail. See below.
  4. Make your Payment: Design Resumes accepts debit and credit card payments (MasterCard, Visa, Discover) as well as PayPal. Face-to-Face Clients are welcome to pay with cash when they arrive for the first appointment. Your payment on the project is my cue to begin our work together. I look forward to getting started.

What will happen then?

  1. Once your payment is processed and your client agreement is on file, I send virtual clients the worksheets.
  2. F2F clients will  use worksheets to select industry-specific keywords and will keep the worksheets to review later. The interview style of information gathering will pin-point your accomplishments and collect your pertinent information.
  3. Virtual clients can either fill in worksheets prior to resume writing or collaborate using Skype. We can share my screen and I can ask you the same questions and use the same strategies I effectively use in face-to-face appointments.
  4. We use the resume as the starting point to create job search strategies, cover letters, or LinkedIn Profiles.
