For my local clients in Central Wisconsin who come to my office and sit across the desk from me, this has always been my business model. But we have invented a way this works for distance clients too. (see below)

- You select the resume style that fits you.
- We begin a collaborative interview process that unlocks your talents and accomplishments, writing live to capture your unique personality and success stories.
- We develop a cover letter targeted to fit the job descriptions you share, demonstrating how your unique qualities will be the solution for the company in the position you seek.
- We finalize your career marketing documents and deliver the Word, PDF, and text versions of your professionally written resume.
- If other services are ordered, we go on to developing LinkedIn profiles, teaching job networking, and coach you on the interview.
What if you don’t live in Wausau?
The process is the same. Except … we work using Skype. So though you are not sitting across the desk, you still have the same personalized professional resume writing and career marketing services that make working with me unique. I share my screen and collaborate with you in the same way.
Can I use the Skype option in Wausau too?
Of course! If you would rather work from your home (or office) and use the Skype process, I teach you how to get the same experience without coming to my office. This is ideal for moms with small children, people who work all day, and people who have a private office.
What hours can we work?
My office is located in Central Wisconsin so I am in the Central Standard Time Zone (CST) and we do change for Daylight Savings Time. I am an early riser so I can consult very early in the morning if that fits your schedule.
Most office appointments are scheduled after 8am or 9am CST because I write content for this site most mornings before I see clients but I am flexible. After work appointments can be scheduled but need to be set up in advance and are limited. Saturdays are also an option. Design Resumes is closed for client appointments on Sundays.
How many people do you work with?
My process is very personalized so I work with 10 to 20 new clients per month. All clients are not at the same pace so generally we can add clients to the schedule.
Is this process for you?
Only you can decide. This process has helped many clients achieve their job search, career change, career transition, and job promotion goals. The interactive involvement in the process makes me your accountability partner. I probe for answers to what you did and how it makes you different than the other people applying for the same position. It does require your time commitment. You don’t just give me information over the phone or by email and leave it to me to write alone. You are part of the process, part of your career marketing, and you benefit from all the training that comes with the process.
