Career change or job search? Don’t Throw in the TOWEL!
It is very easy to give up!
- You can throw in the towel.
- You can say I quit.
- You can say I can’t.
Or you can get out there and fight.
- Don’t Throw in the TOWEL!
- You can give it your all.
- You can do your best.
- You can keep on going when everything is going wrong.
- You can change direction.
- You can correct for any errors in calculations.
However, if you give in, if you give up, or worse, if you publicize your defeat and anger on every social media you use and sound whiny and blaming everyone else and refuse to use the help around you, it will be that much harder to win.
Don’t throw in the towel
This is the time to keep fighting whether you are in a job search, thinking of changing careers, or struggling running your business in a tough economy. I fought feast and famine for 23 years and once upon a time, I lost a job.
Don’t throw in the towel instead get up and fight
Use all the strategies and resources possible and this can be your victory song:
Just wanted to let you know I landed a job with the company I worked for building the hotel, and your resume helped me become the new project superintendent on their staff as well as a very competitive salary.
I think it helped create an urgency on their part to hire me or lose me.
Another residential home builder I interviewed with said my resume was the best he had ever seen. He had a masters degree from Marquette. So Thanks again and just wanted to say well worth the Money.
