Frequently, job seekers think that they should do this job search thing by themselves. After all, it used to be simple to get a job and then get another job. However today, jobs are much more complex and so is the art of finding them.
You would think with all the resources available, people would have no problem landing their next role.
The abundance of free resources and advice on the web is part of the problem. Too many voices and whose advice do you trust? You can choose between suggestions from well-meaning advisors but none of them are walking in your job search.

I recognize that the strategy I use for one job seeker may be totally wrong for the next job seeker. I also understand that feeling helpless is part of what we have to overcome to create career happiness. Desperation makes it hard to see a clear path.
